Saved at the age of 14, Michael De Leon submitted to the Lord’s call upon his life to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ during his senior year in high school. He currently holds a bachelor’s degree in Pastoral Studies from Maranatha Baptist Bible College in Watertown, Wisconsin and has completed all the requirements for a Master of Arts degree from Calvary Baptist Seminary in Lansdale, Pennsylvania.

Michael married Cassandra Ice of Muncie, Indiana in the summer of 1994, and soon joined the church staff of Falls Baptist Church, Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin as pastoral assistant. He served in that position for over 5 years until assuming the pastorate of Lighthouse in the fall of 2001.

Michael and Cassandra have eight children and live in New Concord.
